Okay, one CD I need to buy right now is Thr33 Ringz by T-Pain. I really like most of the songs on there except Chopped N' Skrewed featuring Ludacris.
  1. Welcome to Thr33 Ringz (Intro)
  2. Ringleader Man (This is slower for T-Pain, kinda, but I like it a lot. Smooth.)
  3. Chopped N Skrewed featuring Ludacris (It is not very good in my opinion. It doesn't flow right and his voice annoys me.)
  4. Freeze featuring Chris Brown (Love it! I am very happy Chris Brown is featured on this CD. It's a good dancing song.)
  5. Blowing Up featuring Ciara (Nothing too special, a little boring but good on Ciara's part.)
  6. Can't Believe It featuring Lil Wayne (This is on the radio ALL the time now. I'm almost sick of it but it was great when not overplayed.)
  7. It Ain't Me featuring Akon & T.I. (I like this one a lot too especially cause T.I. is in it. Hello!?! T.I.=Love =))
  8. Therapy featuring Kanye West (I love the sound to this song even if there are some weird lyrics.)
  9. Long Lap Dance
  10. Lorraine Interlude
  11. Reality Show
  12. Keep Going
  13. Superstar Lady
  14. Change
  15. Digital featuring Taym Dizm
  16. Karaoke featuring DJ Khaled
  17. Distorted
  18. Bad Side
  19. Phantom
I don't want to review the rest cause that would take too long and I don't have that kinda time especially since America's Next Top Model is on!

Math

So I today I started liking math a lot better than I have before. This is because in math problems only have one right answer and eventually you get there and you are able to check your answer to see if you got it right. But, in life you can't do that. You don't know if what life choices you have made are correct, it would be nice if you could easily find the path you are suppose to go on but you can't. You have to struggle and go through pain. There isn't an option for that one. So that's why I like math; because you are always led to the right answer and you know it. I don't want to have any regrets so I just have to believe that whatever I'm doing will lead me to where I'm suppose to go. I guess this is why people need faith and I don't mean you have to be all religious and holy but I mean faith in the sense that you have to believe that you are working towards something for a reason or maybe that there is actually something to work towards. Life gets messy so quick which is why I don't understand why it is so hard to clean everything up. Things will never be easy because if they were then we wouldn't understand the significance of what we do at all. I still have a hard time finding reasons for things like going to school or anything and I know a lot of people will say to get a good job but I don't believe that school is number one in terms of importance at all. I don't know why anything happens the way it does; it just does so that is all I have to go on right now. My mind is numb.

IV

Have you been hearing there singles leading up to their new CD? They are completely awful and plain wrong. Ew. I don't understand how they could go from a song with so much meaning like "If Everyone Cared" to "Something in your Mouth." Honestly, Nickelback please go back to what you're good at. It's sad that people feel the music needs to have an explicit label on the cover in order for it to sell. I'm not expecting greatness from their new CD at all. Hopefully I'll be proved wrong but I am just so mad that this is what they have settled for. Their voices sounds like crap and the music in the background overrides their voices. In conclusion, I don't like it. However I like the cover of the new cd that comes out on November 18th:Here are the cd's track names:
  1. Something in your mouth (Awful song, don't ever listen to it)
  2. Burn it to the ground
  3. Gotta be somebody (alright, coulda been better, kinda similar to their old stuff)
  4. I'll come for you
  5. Next go round
  6. Just to get high
  7. Never gonna be alone
  8. Shakin' hands
  9. If today was your last day
  10. s.e.x.
  11. This afternoon
  12. Soundcheck (bonus track)
Now, let's move on to something better. John Legend and his buttery voice!Track Reviews:
  1. Good Morning Intro (it's an intro, moving on!)
  2. Green Light ft. Andre 3000 (I really like this one, especially the video! Definitely a good one)
  3. It's over ft. Kanye West (on Itunes this is album only and I really like the whole album so I would buy it all if I were you! This is a really good one too, I'm just surprised that because Kanye West is on it you have to buy the whole CD. I'm pretty sure it will turn into a single.)
  4. Everybody Knows (I LOVE this song! OMG! It's so, so good! I definitley suggest buying this. I love the lyrics, sound, and overall feel of the song so get it!)
  5. Quickly (This song has an older feel to it like some of his other songs but still very good. A little slow for my taste but good none the less)
  6. Cross the Line (His voice is especially smooth in this one, it could get boring very easily if you listen to it too often though.)
  7. No Other Love ft. Estelle (This would be very good if Estelle wasn't in it =) I don't like Estelle's voice for this song because it is more suited to songs such as "American Boy.")
  8. This Time (This is a sadder song. The first time I heard it, a wave of sadness shot through me. Ugh. But I really like it if I'm in that mood.)
  9. Satisfaction (This is kinda different sounding but in a good way. That's all I'm sayin.)
  10. Take me Away (Yawn.... I'm bored. Too similar to his other stuff. I like VaRiEtY.)
  11. Good Morning (O, this is a pretty good song. His voice sounds especially good in the chorus part.)
  12. I Love, You Love (Too high pitched for part of it. Knock it off, you're not a girl.)
  13. If You're Out There (I really like these lyrics. They are very sweet.)
  14. Floating Away (This is album only. I wish it wasn't cause it's really good, it makes you float away =))
  15. Set Me Free (It's too slow for me. It deserves to be album only.)
  16. Green Light; Afroganic Mix (Not as good as original but nice bob marley kinda feel.)
Wow, that took a long time to review so hopefully that helps.
Now I'd like to talk about Taylor Swift and all of her new singles that are popping up everywhere. Let me make a list for you: Love Story, Fearless, You're Not Sorry, You Belong With Me, and Change. Now, yes she does have some good lyrics and such in there but here voice does not change much at all. They bore me to tears. I'm sick of people thinking she's an amazing singer when she is really just a one-trick pony. Get over it!
Also something I really don't like is the new-ish song by Akon called "Right Now (Na Na Na)." NO, NO, NO!! I hate it. The lyrics suck. Akon's sound is the same as most of his other music. I can't stand hearing it on the radio but then again I rarely listen to the radio so that doesn't matter much for myself. It will get old fast. It's just another single with absolutely no meaning behind it that will get thrown in the past and forgotten.
I'm liking Kanye West's new style with "Love Lockdown" and "Heartless." Even though the love lockdown video is weird and shouldn't be watched cause it's random and not too good. Heartless is already number one on Itunes and it kinda deserves to be there. They are good ones but I'm already sick of love lockdown, at least for now.
M.I.A. has some new songs out now too in her How Many Votes Fix Mix-EP where she adds Jay-Z to her original song "Boyz" and then "Shells" and "Far Far". All very good. But if the only song you liked off her CD Kala was Paper Planes then most likely you'll need a very open mind. However, I love it all and I think people should listen to it right now! Right now? Right now!
Here's Lady GaGa's The Fame Review:

So I'm not going to write this one cause I have no energy for that so I'll just copy and paste the review from Itunes. hehe. Okay crap, apparently you can't copy stuff off of Itunes and I'm not taking my time to type all of that so go look if you want. Anyways, the best songs off of here include; Just Dance, LoveGame, Eh Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say), Boys Boys Boys, and Paper Gangsta, and Beautiful, Dirty, Rich. All are kinda Disco-style-ish. Some say Gwen Stefani but I like Lady GaGa a little better but not sure yet!
Ok Now for Hinder's new CD review: Take It To The Limit:The average Itunes rating was 4 stars. It really took them a while to get this new CD out but anyways it's out now! Favorites off of this CD include: Loaded and Alone, Without You, and Thing for You. Actually, every song on here is pretty good and very rock. I'm very happy with this compared to Nickelback's new crap.
Finally, I'd like to say buy the Twilight Soundtrack and don't forget it comes out on November 21st!!! It is the best things ever so don't forget it!! Twilight is love. Twilight is God's gift to man and I don't lie.

Working For Change

Working For Change

If you haven’t noticed there has been a wake up call for our environment to change when many years ago these thoughts would seem so strange but to the left we have genocide, watchin all the boy soldiers who have died and everyone just seems to turn their heads aside. I am so ashamed because America the beautiful is what we are claimed, we are heading in the right direction we just need some hope to come back in resurrection, The world needs some change so I think it’s time to rearrange, we need to take a chance even if we are afraid, but a revolution is what we need not some knight on his trusty steed, no, no one is coming to rescue us we have to rescue ourselves, so we can put some going green trophies on our shelves. We are running out of time and you can’t get any second back, so if we keep takin oil from the middle-east we are heading on the wrong track, I’m sayin that the Earth is under attack and can you honestly not see what life is worth? We have to get people to care starting at birth. People are too busy worrying about power and control when what we need is something to empower our soul, we are all a union and you can not deny it, from China to Brazil no, no you can’t defy it, so come on let’s try it……

Chorus: No need to wait for change because change is in our hands, you’ve got to understand! From hunger to pollution, we can find a solution. So let’s start a revolution cause we gotta keep this thing we call evolution movin on, movin ON…..

We need to start to see what’s right in front of us, so just forget the small stuff cause when we combine together we become unstoppable, the earth is our home so lets become adaptable, so when you’re caught up in your troubles and think there is no way out just know that there is something bigger that burns inside of us so let’s stop makin such a fuss! So like Norman Vincent said “throw your heart over the fence and the rest will follow” and that may be a hard concept to swallow but if you just try your heart will not feel so hollow…. Anything you do to contribute counts, nothing is too small because in the end it all amounts. So let’s keep moving and improving cause what is there left to do besides striving for world harmony to shine through. So….

Chorus: No need to wait for change because change is in our hands, you’ve got to understand! From hunger to pollution, we can find a solution. So let’s start a revolution cause we gotta keep this thing we call evolution movin on, movin ON…..

I think we have lost some pride so we have got to broaden our stride and if we keep trying everything will be OK, everything will be OK, just start working for change today and everything will be….. OK.

So this is a pretty rough draft of what I want the song to be but I decided to put it up just because. It might be a little too corny for my taste but I just wrote whatever came to mind and went with it. I like feedback but no need to be cruel. K, Thanks.

III

You know what pisses me off? This group called 33Miles who had a free song on Itunes called One Life to Love. I hate this song. They are trying to copy Rascal Flatts style and it's NOT working. Even though it's free don't download it cause they suck!!! Also to add to my complaints, one of the music video channels replay Krazy by Pitbull way too much. It's getting annoying even though I still like the song. This is just what happened to Love in this Club by Usher; people played it over and over and then it gets boring. Ugh. We need some music MODERATION. So now I'll list three songs that sound really, really good when you play them loud in the car:
  1. Go Getta by Young Jeezy & R. Kelly
  2. Make it Rain (Remix) by Fat Joe featuring R. Kelly, T.I., Lil Wayne, Baby, Rick Ross, & Ace Mac
  3. Is This Love by Bob Marley (you may think that this is a weird choice but just try it)
Ok this is going to be a short one today because I am going to go watch John Edward Crossing Over. hahaha =)

II

So this is my second music update entry. I am sick at the moment so I don't have much else to do besides this type of thing. I am pretty tired so hopefully this doesn't suck. I'll start out by saying that 50 Cent is trying to come back with new music like his new single "Get Up" but it's just not cutting it for me. It doesn't have anything unique or special about it. 50 Cent you've been spent so don't even take time to repent cause everyone gave up your music up for lent. Moving on! For this entry I've decided to make a list of songs to listen to when you are in not such a happy mood but you're looking for something to let you ride out the mood. I know that's not very descriptive but I think you get the point. So here's about 10:
  1. I Have a Dream by Common: This song is so good. It's great to listen to in the car or if you're by yourself. I don't know what it is about this song but it makes me feel really good and who would of thought that MLK Jr. would be so musical? You may have heard this song in the movie Freedom Writers with Hillary Swank. That move is great as well so if you haven't seen it, go check it out.
  2. Be Be Your Love by Rachel Yamagata: This song may sound whiny to some people but if you're in the mood for a sad kind of love song then this is pretty perfect. Her voice is so pretty and different. I love it. This song was featured on the first Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies. Anyhow, she has a new CD out right now called "Elephants...Teeth Sinking Into Heart." It is a great CD but I've only bought one song off of it so far called "Duet" and it's pretty slow as well. It could also be considered a song for this list.
  3. The Driveway by Miley Cyrus: Yes, I know... It's Miley Cyrus but before you go on and say you see her everywhere and she is stupid, stop and take a second look. Her music has a lot of great lyrics and meaning behind them and even though they don't involve swearing or come with an explicit label on the CD they are actually very good. This song is on this list because it's pretty relatable and not what you would expect exactly. It's not some poppy fluff song. Take a listen, k thanks.
  4. So Small by Carrie Underwood: I'm putting this song on here so I add some more variety to the genres of music on this list and also because I love this song. It is pretty mainstream and most everyone knows it but there's a reason that it's so popular; figure it out for yourselves by listening or reading the lyrics.
  5. The Ocean by The Bravery: Apparently The Bravery's voices arn't as good as they are when edited on their albums but that means I just won't be seeing them live anytime soon. "The Ocean rolls us away." That's the chorus and it's really smooth and flows; I guess you could say like an ocean. When I listen to it, it makes me feel kind of sad but in a good way.
  6. Tie My Hands by Lil Wayne: This one is for all of the hip hop/rap lovers out there. This song features Robin Thicke so you know it'll be a good combo. Btw Robin Thicke has a nice new single called "Magic." This is on Lil Wayne's new CD "Tha Carter III." It is a different view of Lil Wayne in this song, quite gloomy.
  7. That Green Gentleman (Things Have Changed) by Panic At the Disco: This happens to be a faster pace song but I love the chorus: "Things have changed for me, and that's okay." I really like the way that it makes change seem so simple when it can feel so difficult. I'm not sure if it has been on the radio, probably has but whatever, still good.
  8. What Hurts the Most by Rascal Flatts: Lately, I can't listen to any sad song without it affecting how I'm feeling partly. This is super well known but it still can get to ya.
  9. Will Work For Love by Usher: This song is for the people who have the tendency to feel love sick because in this song Usher certainly is. He seems pretty desperate if you ask me but for those of you who are in that mood and need something to help make you feel like you're not completely alone then this could be good for you.
  10. Move Along by The All-American Rejects: This is well known too but it does get you in the mood for moving along. Nice voices, nice background music. That's all I gotta say about that one.
Ok So I hope you find those songs to your liking. Oh, shoot. I forgot to add Hometown Glory by Adele to that list. It's really good. Adele was recently on Saturday Night Live so if you liked her on there then you'll like this song a lot too. They also used this song on the last season of So You Think You Can Dance for one of the performances. Yup, it's a good one.
Now, I'd like to make a list of people who should only be featured on songs and not have their own CDs':
  1. Young Jeezy: He has a new CD out called "The Recession" but honestly he is amazing at doing parts in songs like Love In This Club by Usher but on his own.... Who wants to listen to that voice for a whole song, by itself?!? If he is featured in songs where he is not the main focal point, it is like a treat inside the song but alone... not so much. But if you can't live without the CD then the best two songs on there happen to be "Put On" which features Kanye West and "Takin' it There" which features Trey Songz.
  2. Flo Rida: I admit songs like Elevator and Low are very good and have entertaining beats but he can only do so much with his voice. His style doesn't change in any of his songs on his CD "Mail On Sunday." He just doesn't have enough variety to be able to make songs that don't include other artists to carry him along. The best songs off this CD are "American Superstar" which features Lil Wayne, "Elevator" featuring Timbaland, and finally "Roll" featuring Sean Kingston.
  3. Akon: He used to be huge but now his sound is getting too boring for my taste. It's time he started fading out. He is a pretty messed up guy as well if you haven't noticed from events of this past year. Ugh. However he does make nice back up vocals to stars like Lil Wayne. For example, those two just created a new song called "I'm So Paid" and it's not half bad. However, if Lil Wayne weren't in that song then I would have not bought it. So Akon, please stop trying to make it on your own, I'd greatly appreciate it.
DJ Khaled really knows how to play it. You three could learn from him. He combines amazing artists together to create hits like "We takin' Over." He does have some parts in the song where he raps but he doesn't take it too far. He has a new little group of songs in "We Global." It has a lot of great artists featured in it. Favorites include: Go Hard, She's Fine, and Defend DADE. Fat Joe has also been using this technique sometimes as well and I'm glad it's been working for him because he has that nice single with J. Holiday called "I wont Tell."
You may be thinking, how can I range all the way from Fat Joe to Miley Cyrus? It takes a special kind of person. =) I love it all and I'm not ashamed of it. I think people need to broaden their horizons when it comes to music. People get so stuck on one type of music like heavy metal or country they forget that there's other stuff out there. Btw, I will not be putting any updates for heavy metal type of stuff on here because that is the only thing that I do not like. Metallica does not count because it's Metallica but you get my point. Oh, just so you know Lil Wayne is on a new singled called "Haterz" which is by Glasses Malone, Birdman, and Lil Wayne. It's pretty new but not extremely popular yet I think. Anyways I hope you found this second entry helpful!
Love, love.
